Dimer acid
Dimer acid, Tsunodyme®, is viscous liquid produced by the polymerization of vegetable-based C18 unsaturated fatty acid. The products of dimer acid are the mixture of dibasic (C36: dimer), tribasic (C54: trimer), and monobasic (C18: monomer) acids.
Dimer acid is provided as the raw material of the high molecular polymer and is used for the product improvement in various functions of chemical products such as flexibility, toughness and so on.
Trimer acid
Trimer acid, Tsunodyme 346, is high viscous liquid and is produced by the polymerization of vegetable base C18 unsaturated fatty acids. This product is the mixture of tribasic (C54: trimer), dibasic (C36: dimer), and monobasic (C18: monomer) acids.
Tsunodyme 346 is provided the basis for product improvement and innovation in many diversified areas (ex. synthetic lubricants, oil well drilling fluid, polymer modification and polyamides for ink and adhesives).
